I've been having a feeling that this spring is going to be the last time that life is going to be as we have been familiar........ that we will look back to the recent past with great longing. I pray that I am very wrong.

Something very disturbing has been in the air for some time now. Here's hoping that I'm just getting too much news.

I have often wondered why God gave man the brain, the ability and the inclination to create weapons of mass destruction. I guess it's just nature, nature is capable of mutating/evolving and creating devastating biological forms after all ............... or are we humans some kind of diabolical alien theatre experimentation?

It all seems to be coming to a head. I feel like hiding in the den and watching the Three Stooges.

Man also has the ability to find cures. We have the ability to not SEEK martyrdom- but when called, we can decide to take our plane into a Penssylvania field to save others, and inspire a nation under attack, that we are NOT weak, and we will NOT FALL!

Our abilities are vast, it is how we choose to use them. Nothing would be special about the good things, if good things were all we could do.

I believe the most tremendous gift man has is something as simple as touch.

When the world seems to be on fire, and everything is crashing down, sometimes a something as simple as a hug can destroy the helplessness and replace it with hope.

I keep hearing echoes of ancient prophecies that all seem to culminate around these next 6 years - for ex: the Hopi legend that adds that we better have a years supply of living essentials (food, water, heat source) and be off in the williwacks - and that it will take a good ten years to come up out of the mire -

I was raised in the back woods of a northern state - and, I gotta tell ya, I wouldn't mind having a camp and a well stocked cold cellar up there right now)

May be no comfort to you at all, but by Easter each and every year, I am exhausted. Perhaps I do relive something each and every year. And that "dread" feeling you refer to? Yep.

Three Stooges sounds like a good medicine to watch.

This, whatever it is, passes each year. You have picked up, I suspect, the rumblings of what has all been hitting the news. 3/4ths of it is delusion. It's a grand delusion to make you feel so bad. Yes, there is good and evil. It's a sentence or headline spread around the world, like bad gossip, with the intent and purpose of depressing your spirit.

Hopefully you will watch that film, and recall, that not all is what it seems.

Whether Iran is going to nuke us or not. Iran only has everything to lose since its usual allies have been neutralized. What you are witnessing, IME, is the "pre-trial". Iran is handling it much as Saddam did. This doesn't necessarily mean war.

There are good people in Iran who wish to see a tyranny of evil stopped. Last I understood, the Mullahs hadn't been able to fully close ranks and shut out the light. And they were so sure no one was watching them -- that the entire focus had been on Saddam.
