No matter what Bush says or does, for this type of poster Bush is never conservative enough. They often call him a "statist" or "socialist."
I live in one of the most conservative areas of the country. Most of the people here in Indiana aren't particularly upset at the President....they are mad at Governor Daniels for getting the legislature to put us on Daylight Savings Time. LOL!

That old 2000 thread was very interesting. Some of the anti GW posters in that thread are still around posting their garbage. A lot have been banned. One wonders, how many of those are "born again" as the Really True Conservatives on Free Republic.

have been here a long time, and one thing I have noticed is that there is a certain type of poster who is ALWAYS more conservative than the President. Besides ranting about immigration and CFR and the education bill, they also think we aren't killing enough terrorists, that the tax cuts weren't good enough, that he should have already reformed or abolished Social Security, that he should pull out of the UN right now, etc. etc.
There is one difference between the Rightwing Feverswampers and the Leftwing Feverswampers. We don't really put ours in Congress or allow them to take over the movement.
