A momentary lapse of reason from the MSM.
I'm stunned.

It may also help to explain why the effects of global warming have been observed on Mars, a planet not known for its coal-burning power plants or sport-utility vehicles. Good line!! Of course, FACTS mean nothing to the lefty global warming kooks.

If the threat of global warming doesn't spook ya, the pace in the rising cost for fossil fuels will.

The sun/solar activity like we've got today...last time there was this type of activity was 300 yrs ago. This activity will last until 2008.

When scientists are able to predict the weather next week, I might listen to their arguments for global warming.

If you consider a conservative magazine "MSM".
Don't worry, you won't find any of this printed in MSM's main rags, just as you won't find " Waterbury Republican-American" laying about in the waiting rooms of doctors offices.
To: Graybeard58
It's also been said due to how clean our atmosphere today is...is also a big part of the suns heat getting through which is one of the problems with our weather i.e. tornadoes, flooding rain.

My docs waiting room has a tv that's on Fox News. It's mounted on the wall where the libs can't reach it.

It seems that back in the days when every home had a woostove, and there was a constant haze hanging in the air, mankind caused "global cooling" The earth is actually warming to what it's supposed to be.

If you consider a conservative magazine "MSM". My wife is from Waterbury, so I'm familiar with the regional politics. I assumed the publication (incorrectly I guess) was representative of the area. My mistake.

Not really. A recent article states the earth's temperature has NOT increased since 1998 in fact it's now cooling.

When I go for a doc visit, I always have to change the channel. I get dirty looks, but none are brave enough to tell me to turn it back to opra.

In 30 years many of us will be sitting around, looking at all of today's stupid Time magazine articles on the Internet wayback machine, laughing our rear ends off and wondering how anyone ever really believed all that garbage, the same exact way we do now with all the Global Cooling scare article from 30 years ago.
The great thing about it though is that each new generation is a new opportunity to recycle the crap all over again.
