Bush would never say it but I would bet he's thinking....

Screw the poll numbers. A number of FReepers will be on the MSM side of this thinking the sky is falling.

It's only once or twice in a lifetime that you see a politician who wants to do what is best for America and not what the pollsters want you to think is best for America.

Bush is one of those guys and history will prove him out. I cannot imagine having the Democrats in charge when our country is in such peril by a group of terrorists wanting to control not only the U.S., but the world.

Some in this country would have America surrender to this group and hope they treat us well. Not this President.

I agree. And, the other was Harry Truman.

Say again?

Get a grip, the pollsters reflect what the people think & feel, not the pollsters personal beliefs and at this time many Americans are less than impressed with the way President Bush is steering the ship of state.

You said history will prove Bush right, that is how I have felt from getgo. However, I won't venture a guess right now, there are still a lot of pieces to fall into place. He will go down as one of the top five leaders or bottom five leaders, but it will be years before we know. IMHO

Exactly! Polls are scewed and getting worse. The President that governs by the polls is a moron like Clinton who put his finger in the wind. I want a man of conviction who believes in his heart he is doing the right thing for America. The one-issue folks on here can shove it because he is doing what is best for ALL Americans.

Country in such a peril, governerd by Democrats?
Well, we all had better use the fixaction of the Democrat ruling. They are presently ruling even though the GOP has a majority in both houses.
The Republican Congress can't go sh*t without taking a liberal to the bath room with them.
The way I perceive the GOP presently is, they can't wipe their own a**. They have sold the Republican Party for their own personal gain.
The tide will definitely change starting this Nov. and it pi**es
me to the point of my blood boiling.
