The Bilbray campaign attacked Roach as a mystery man trying to buy an election. "His political campaign ads and mailers are everywhere. But until a few months ago, no one had ever heard of him," Bilbray's mailer said.
Why is citing someone's record, or wanting to know more about a candidate considered an "attack"?
This one is a literal free-for-all, but I don't think we have anything to worry about in the runoff.
I've read any many places that Howard Kaloogian was one of the three republican front-runners and also the most pro-secure borders. I hope he wins and goes on to the likely run-off.
42% for Busby? She only got 37% in 2004, right?
Thanks for Breaking.
I guess we could sing and dance for awhile 'til more results come in. ;-)
Anybody know the Rockabilly version of Kumbaya?
Historical note: Busby got 36.5% (105,590) of the vote against Duke in 2004.
Brian Bilbray was one of the nation's strongest voices on immigration. I'm shocked the "Republican establishment" supported him, but I sure hope he wins.
Didn't know about the election, but ABC News last hour had the results on. Saying the Rat won, but later mentioned that a runoff would be required because she didn't receive 50% of the vote. Made it sound like turning the Pubbie seat over to the Dims was a fait accompli.
