President Bush has reached the lowest approval rating of any president as his disapproval rating is averaging almost 60 percent among Americans. Immigration issues, the war in Iraq, rising gasoline prices, a growing dissatisfaction among his base are all said to be factors in the dismal figures.

So....is he running for re-election or something? Doesn't amount to a hill of beans (well maybe in reporters minds, but nobody else)

Well, you're bound to piss off the opposition. But once you stick your own base in the eye, this is what you get. I doubt he cares. He's not running.

What were the disapproval ratings of Millard Filmore, Franklin Pierce, James Buchanan, Jimmy Carter and Slick Willie Clinton? And what does that have to do with history?

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, more rigged polls from polls that over-represent Democrats. Show me one poll that accurately represents the voting population at around 35% Dem, 33% GOP and I'll give a crap about it. But everything that's been released lately has had gaps of as much as 14 percentage points between GOP and Dems. The AP poll had Dems. at 50%, GOPers at 40%. So spare us the obsessive poll mongering. They're just a reflection of what the lapdog media thinks America's opinion of Bush should be.

We are the mediocre presidents.
You won't find our faces on dollars or on cents!

There's Fillmore and there's Hayes.
There's William Henry Harrison,

If the media gave Bush a fair shake, his poll numbers would be better. Our economy is great, yet people think it's bad.

globalism and open borders are the mantra of the GOP chairman melman and BUSH's family
it does not sell well on main street, even for a president who is willing to fight WOT.

LOL! Yet another "Bush hits all time low" poll.
To: The Electrician
Polls didn't really exist in the time of Fillmore, Pierce and Buchanan but they are generally regarded as the worst three in the annals of the American presidency by historians...
...Nixon, Carter and Clinton are the worst three modern holders of office, IMHO.
