"electing" conservatives Some republicans uphold the label and deserve 100% support (Coburn, etc). Others don't as much. Hopefully electability doesn't mean watering down conservatism to appeal to a broader spectrum of voters.

Hopefully electability doesn't mean watering down conservatism to appeal to a broader spectrum of voters.Conservatism won't win without the help of the Republican party. The GOP, be as it may, is probably the closest thing to actually give a boost to the conservative movement. You will find it in third parties, but name a candidate in Washington that belongs to a third party.
Don't bother looking for conservatives in the democrat party, none exist.

Being Conservative does NOTHING for America, if Conservatives don't shape the party in control. Litmus tests will ensure dims control EVERYTHING! I have lived through that nightmare once, and will do everything that I can to stop it from happening again.
I have voted for a RINO every time that I have voted for my Senator, Trent Lott! What? I'm going to vote for a dim or an indy with no chance... NO CHANCE!

Hopefully electability doesn't mean watering down conservatism to appeal to a broader spectrum of voters. What it means is to support the most conservative electable candidate as opposed to the most conservative candidate who also has no hope of winning. The point is that we get the most conservative electable candidate in there and continue to work at the grass roots level to push the country more to the right, a little at a time.
The right could learn something from the left: INCREMENTALISM.
