Hey at least it's not a shutout.

It's pathetic given your bias.

You have a choice, vote Republican or Democrat or sit home and suck your thumb.

2004 Election: Bush %50.73 Kerry %48.27

All you third party folks, take away a few per cent of the
Republican vote and you get a Liberal.
You are not going to get any per cent of the left to join you.
Also sit home and you still get a Liberal.
Don't cut off your nose to spite your face.

Scary scary stuff facing our country on more than one front. It's like the perfect storm is brewing.

With our politicians today they tell us what we want to hear, but behind the scene, totally different.

The cold hard fact is that George Bush the elder lost because of Perot, and I willingly and freely admit that, but the "why" that people were so willing to abandon Bush when he needed them most is more important today then the facts of that loss ever was.

I can give you one reason why, his "no new taxes" pledge.

Crossfire would still be on the air if the two of you were the hosts. An Excellent and entertaining debate.

BTW I am glad that JimRob stirred the pot. This debate has been a long time in coming.

Paddy Buchanan & Ron Paul are against the war.
If that is what you want, just vote Democrat.

Those conservatives holding office need to have the majority to effect change. Without that majority, ALL Conservatives will lose.

This is exactly what one of Jim's points in his post alluded to!

I don't want to speak for Jim but this is what i gathered from his post also...

I assume Sir, that I am not the first person to suggest that YOU ought to be a candidate for office?

Actually I think Jim is providing more support for the conservative agenda by manning this site than he would as one vote among 535 in Washington.

I am one of many that has become more knowledgeable by lurking and listening to the thoughtful analysis of news events as they are occurring.

Keep up the good work Jim.

Any american that believes a politician when he says "no new Taxes" should be horse whipped, just because.

Perot's economic plans were such a breath of fresh air, americans couldn't help but vote for him because they hadn't heard anything like it before.

There is a lesson there, Americans love new ideas and concepts, Newt learned that lesson and applied it in 1994.

The democrats still haven't learned it.

"Paddy Buchanan & Ron Paul are against the war.
If that is what you want, just vote Democrat."

If I vote Democrat, I get:
Affirmative action (aka discrimination against whites, asians and men)
Gay "marriage"
Rampant illegal immigration with amnesty
High taxes
Environmental whackoism that strangles growth

Why in HELL would I vote for that?!

I think electing conservatives and appointing constitutionalist judges will do much more for ending illegal immigration than anything else. And if we can do that, then a lot of our other problems will begin falling into line also. Failure to control the government will be our doom.

BTTT!
