They are getting $20+/hr but are being paid in cash/no deductions.

The low lifes that stand on the corner looking for work won't work for less than $10/hr plus transportation and lunch.

That really cheeses me off! My dad worked as a laborer 15 years ago. Even with the union he didn't make the equivalent (even by comparing the amounts to today's rates).
