... what with snow all year round & the Polar Bears, Arctic Wolves, etc ? ( ... snicker )
Actually, the bulk of Canada's population live well South of the famed "49th Parallel" putting most of us less far North than a fair bit of the U.S.

I think I know what you mean, but my first thought - was "aren't you completely north of all the US?" :)

We had two Hell's Angels shot (one dead, one wounded) last week here in CT by someone in an SUV with FL plates. I wonder if there is some sort of dispute being settled between these two gangs.

How could they be "gunshot wounds"? Guns are not allowed in Canada. Unless of course, the bad guys get guns no matter what the law says. Gollllyyyyy Gomer!

Toronto-based organized crime expert Antonio Nicaso told The Associated Press that he learned from a reliable source that three members of the Bandidos have been missing since Friday. He said there were 12 members in the group.
Nicaso said the Bandidos were not that big or influential in Canada, but they are the major competitor of the Hells Angels motorcycle gang in the United States.
Help me understand. There are 12 Bandidos and they are a major competitor to the Hells Angels?

Bandidos is no "Gang Lite"!
In So. Cal. in the 70's, we "independants" stayed further away from them, than H.A.'s.

I wish they'd stop using that word. They weren't decimated, they were killed.

I don't know. Maybe you think they are scary...I do not.
I think of motorcycle gangs and I think cowards. One of the victims was a bandido who was an accountant in his day job! I guess they killed him for not doing their taxes right.
