Thanks for the ping. The Iraqi-Abu Sayyaf link is undeniable and the Philippine government has the hard evidence to back it up.
That is the smoking gun...Saddam funded a terror group who kidnapped and killed an American.
Thanks for the ping. A link to Abu Sayef is huge. My hope of hopes is W & Co. is sitting on the goods and rope and doping the 'rats, only to come out strong at the end of the summer. We'll see....
In this case, I would suggest that there are two smoking guns. An Iraqi diplomat was also linked to another terrorist bombing that killed an American Army Special Forces sergeant. The Philippine government recovered a cell phone from another unsuccessful bombing attempt that showed calls from the Iraqi diplomat to the Abu Sayyaf.
"This idea that Saddam Hussein was some sort of isolationist dictator holed up in his palace and just happy to have his hands around the throats of his own people was inaccurate," Rep. Dana Rohrbacher (R., Calif.), chairman of the House International Relations Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee tells me. "He saw himself as a Saladin and had contacts with people around the world who hated the United States, because he hated the United States."
That's my Rep....has my vote again!

Good idea. I'll get started this evening. Thanks for the link to the email addys.
I think I'll start sending them every article/translation I ping.
It continues to flow. Keep up the good work, gents.
Oh, gosh -- I didn't mean to make more work for you. I've been sending them too and if a lot of us do it, maybe, just maybe, they will start to pay attention.
Absolutely. I suspect I'm not alone around here in feeling that I spend more time defending his policies than he does.
LOL. I can just do one and BCC all of them. Its hardly any work, and its well worth it.
re: the offensive coach. Isn't Rove still in there? Why isn't he doing anything on this?
(sorry, I'm British and new here)
I just thought I would send you a thank you note for pinging me to these fabulous threads.
THANK YOU.
Not only that. Why is next to NONE of the Conservative Media covering this? They have the printing presses, the cameras and the microphones. WHERE are they? If you find that answer to either question. PLEASE let us know! Welcome aboard. Please make sure your keyboard is locking in the horizontal and fasten your seat belt. We can promise you a fun, yet turbulence filled, ride here on Free Republic. :-)
Awesome! Thanks for the PING! This is GREAT news. Now I'm just waiting for the "brush fire" to start.
WOO HOO!
**sigh** I am with you, Johnnie. From what I see, the only issue they are talking about/care about is the illegal immigration issue. Yes, it is important, but I just can't take hearing about it ALL DAY LONG every single day. I wish THIS would get some legs under it as it is really important as well!
Well we are trying. That is all anyone can do. We are farther along now then we were last Thursday!
Very true! I am keeping ever hopeful as I keep
sendin' out the e-mails. Heh heh.
We have only just begun. (cue The Carpenters) ;^)
Paying Attention - More Good News from Iraq [Great Read]
What Would Mexico Do with Protesting Illegals? - Deport them on the spot.
From time to time, Ill ping on noteworthy articles about politics, foreign and military affairs. FReepmail me if you want on or off my list.
We Freepers no longer care about the PURPOSE of this thread, we only want to manufacture additional excuses to scream about Immigration. It's everywhere at all times and every thread. Way to drown out THIS real news with noise Conservatives!
In case you all missed it. The Immigration BILL IS DEAD. It will have to wait for Congress to come BACK before it could be resurrected. Can we talk about ANYTHING else or shall we just change the weblog's name to Immigration Rants
