The article even states that Rather and Mapes were fired...that wouldn't have happened 10 years ago.
The big picture is that the media is actually losing its hold. Sure, they are throwing every scrap of dirt in their arsenal right now (and even fooling many conservatives I might add). But it's not going to work.
As long as we don't let it work. One of the keys is right here, the freedom of the internets to do quick research and quick dissemination. We, all of us (even DailyK), are the Tom Paines of this century, and we will have to fight to keep it that way once MSM and the socialists get desperate enough to try to silence us.
The lies go back to the press' love affair with Stalin and the USSR during the 1930's and its hatred of McCarthy in the fifties. Then there were the daily lies about Tet in 1968. It's been a lot longer than thirty years.
