When the Minutemen set up shop at the Arizona border last year to call attention to the illegal alien loophole in US Homeland Security, President Bush foolishly chided these brave patriots by calling them vigilantes. Although chagrined at being deserted by the man who has the constitutional responsibility and authority to defend our borders, the Minutemen dug in their heels and persisted. And persisted.
Their Yankee determination to do the right thing was rewarded when President Bush finally sent additional border patrol agents to Arizona. Even the Mexican government was motivated to pay greater attention, at least temporarily, because of the due diligence of heroic Minutemen.
Before the Minuteman took their courageous stand, open border advocates and anti-American liberals insisted it was impossible to stop illegal immigration. Best to just accept reality, learn Spanish, and switch to rice and beans as food stables, according to the leftists and Hispanic racists.
Thank God, the Minutemen PROVED illegal aliens CAN be stopped, thereby delivering a great victory on behalf of all American citizens.

Well said. I agree. CFR needs to be abolished. It never will be though. Too many rich and powerful are members...including the one who's name we dare not criticize.
When are the American people going to get so fed up that they either remove those people or the politicians who allow them to stay? Seems you just described a military target above.
What, you gonna get him suspended again?
Too bad this thread didn't stay in Smokey Backroom very long.
Quisling: A word Norwegians are not very proud of having given to the world: it derives from Vidkun Quisling (1887-1945), a Norwegian politician who collaborated with the Nazis during World War II. He established his name as a synonym for "traitor", someone who collaborates with the invaders of his country, especially by serving in a puppet government. Quisling was found guilty of high treason in 1945, and was executed by firing squad on the 24th October 1945.
Interesting. I didn't know that.
I don't do that kind of stuff and also don't hit abuse botton on every post I don't like
Let him say what he wants ..
Let eveyone know how he calls women " post-menopausel biddies"
We know one on here who employes illegals, but I have been asked by that person never to post to them again or mention their name.
makes me think there is a business interest at the root of most of their anger.
Agreed.
The only thing that that cartoon lacks is about nine offspring standing behind the Mexican to the one point six children of the American.
I'm post-menopausel and it doesn't bother me in the slightest. Those that it does, needs to develop a tougher skin or ask for a more aggressive hormone replacement therapy.
Let the record show, that the last time, it led to a Civil War, and it will again.
I hope the illegal alien slave-traitors choke on their profits, and meet Vidkun Quisling's end.
Gee ... Nice to know you don't mind being called names
I've been called other names that start with a 'B' and biddies is soft compared to it.
You're not joking, are you?
Sorry I was watching our President speak. Heres your answer:
Especially with all the publicity, I am very concerned that the Minuteman Project will not be able to screen all participants for links to white supremacist groups, hidden agendas, etc. and something bad happens - I don't want any innocent killed. Or, perhaps, that they become a (willing?) target of violence and then have to use self-defense. It's just too much like pouring gasoline on the fire. We don't let private citizens enforce speeding laws either.
I guess, bottom-line, I believe these people could be more effective elsewhere. So what if one month per year they lower border crossings in a few spots? Coyotes will simply go around them, and make the Border Patrol job more difficult and dangerous. If some Border Patrol agent gets killed because of the Minuteman Project, will you at least agree that I had a point?
If and when I need to bring my friends out into the streets to 'protest', it will be a counter-protest, and it will be for keeps.
"I figure we don't need to counterprotest these morons. They are doing a better job making our point for us than we could dream of doing with a protest of our own. Waving Mexican flags, demanding more rights than citizens have, waving placards saying the Southwest actually belongs to them - maybe now folks will believe what a lot of these people are about - not becoming Americans, but splitting part of America off."
"The President never called them (minuteman) vigilantes"
WRONG! Heard it with my own two ears, understand completely the context in which he said it, where he said, and whom was present with El Presidente Jorge Arbusto when it was said.
That's a bald-faced lie that he didn't smear the Minutemen as vigilantes!
The more pressure we keep on Mexico, immigration-wise, the more reformers
inside of Mexico can be emboldened and empowered to scale back monopolists'
abuses down there which keep our own country flooded with economic refugees.
Here's an interesting new thread on new legal reform progress that finally
emerged in Mexico I think as a result of immigration reform's failure:

We can make a difference for our sake, and their's as well. Isn't it the
neighborly thing to do?
