Senators warned on 'voting scared'
The Washington Times ^ | 10 April 2006 | Audrey Hudson

A key House member yesterday warned the Senate that they must not be intimidated by rallies in 60 cities this week against immigration reform legislation pending in Congress.

Republican Rep. Peter T. King, chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, says that he expects "several thousand people" will protest his district offices in New York but that "you can't allow that to intimidate you."

"The Senate, I think, was quite frankly intimidated by having hundreds of thousands of people in the streets waving flags, but I don't think we should pass legislation or devise legislation based on how many people you can get out into the street," the New York Republican told "Fox News Sunday."

Although Congress is in adjournment for the two-week Easter recess, protesters will rally in Washington and will be joined by students from Montgomery County schools, who will get extra credit for the effort, as part of the 60 hours of "student service learning hours" that students must do through volunteer work or activism on social issues.

"Frankly, if the Ku Klux Klan was having a rally downtown, would the school system allow that" to be used as credit? one parent asked WTOP radio (103.5 FM). "That's a political event. I would hope not."

Hundreds of thousands of protesters waved Mexican and Salvadoran flags during the last round of rallies to protest any crackdown on illegal aliens, but some say the foreign flags created a backlash against the protests' intended message that illegal aliens want to become U.S. citizens.

Rep. Luis V. Gutierrez, Illinois Democrat, told "Meet the Press" that the flag symbolism "doesn't help in this debate" and that he has made televised pleas to leave the Mexican flag and other national flags at home

Good, but playing it up this way, any movement in the Senate or the House that is pro-immigration will look like cowardice.

If anything, you'd think seeing those millions in the street openly violating American laws, flying foreign flags, defacing our own flag, and calling for Chicano power and the death of whitey would embolden the Senate that perhaps we might be best served to do away with these illegals and take on people a bit more appreciate to be here.

But then again, I'm far, far from the Beltway.

Very few of our elected officials work for the good of American citizen. Most are spineless, yellow belly, idiots with nothing on the ball. Good God, the illegals that marched today have more testicles than they.

These protests at least show the illegals that they're safe and will never be removed.

The Senate seems to be more and more a mistake made by the founding fathers - like the appendix that has out lived it's evolutionary usefulness, it's time it be done away with!

what the heck are they afraid of??? The illegals who protested CAN'T VOTE THEM OUT OF OFFICE if they don't like the way the legislation goes! All the polls show that the majority is in favor of getting seriously tough on illegals so why sweat it for goodness sake!

I don't know where you live. I live in Los Angeles, and here, like many places, there is no ID required to vote or to register to vote. I know many RATS were signing up people to register at shopping malls in the last election and getting paid to do it and all they wanted was the peoples names and place of residence .THATS IT! So its very sad for me to reach the conclusion that there are probably many fraudulent voters out here as well as many other states that are voting illegally and the RATS sure as heck know it!

The flags were a moment of truth. Now the rats are scurrying about trying to make sure the people don't see the truth again. Reminds me of the Palestinian celebrations after 911. Now you see them. Now you don't. And Yasar Arafat is all over the evening news giving AIDS infested blood for the victims of 911.

Their lapdogs in the Old Media will willingly comply by not showing footage of the next 'celebration' where you can see mexican flags.

Now why would they vote because the streets are full of communist activist, illegal foreign nationals, street punks and school buses full of children? That wouldn't be scared that would be stupid.

Why would the Democrat/leftists do any favors for illegal aliens? Here's why...

This is not about workers rights or fair immigration policies. It has to do with international communist/socialist orgs looking to gain the political upperhand in the U.S..

Posted by JeffHead Jeff links to Mexica.org's 'after protest' pic fest. You can see there what the marchers thought they were marching for.

A poster for Friday’s march. March 31. This poster lists the Latino orgs that are promoting the protests. They are all communist/socialist front orgs.

Here is my analysis of what is going on behind the scenes.

Here is some evidence that 'amnesty' increases illegal entries. These people knew before the demonstrations that the time was ripe.

Smith Act of 1940 This is the U.S. statute that ought to apply to the organized gathering of tens of thousands of foreign nationals calling for the overthrow of our country.

H.R. 4437 At this link you will find a good exegesis of the only bill that doesn't offer some type of amnesty/pathway to citizenship/excuses for illegal entry. It is harsh on employers but has reasonable protections for employers who verify documents that are later shown to be false. It explains that the databases necessary are already in place. It provides for border security.

Understand that the provision that the protesters say is 'racist,' that makes illegals felons, was inserted by the Dems a short time ago. That clarifies why Hillary happened to discover the immigration issue a week before the marches. Why she demonized Republicans as "making Jesus a criminal."

Keep in mind just who organized these protests. Who provided the tens of thousands of T-shirts, the thousands of professionally made signs, the hours and hours of promotion on Spanish language radio and TV stations. It has been noticed that Islamic orgs names and logos appear on some of these signs as well. Remember that NEA teachers and administrators are the ones who have assisted the march organizers by providing bussing for their students, hoisting Mexican flags at school and overlooking the truancy.

Don't forget that the last two Presidential elections were nearly 50/50. Think about how our Congress is looking for a way to appease these foreign nationals through legislation. No election necessary. The outcome of legalizing 11 million illegals and encouraging more to come will be a solid lock for the left forevermore in national elections.

We don’t need an ‘immigration’ bill. We need and want a border security and illegal aliens bill. An immigration/guest worker bill can come after that is done.

Mexico is Rich- Mexican wealthy play American taxpayers for suckers

Good thread for any that missed it. It should really make you mad.

Every dollar spent in U.S. taxes for social services for illegal aliens frees up additional cash to be sent south as part of the annual remittances which provided $20 billion in 2005. According to the CNN news show Lou Dobbs Tonight (3/21/05), "Remittances, as they're called, are expected to become Mexico's primary source of income this year, surpassing the amount of money that Mexico makes on oil exports for the first time ever."

Mayans in Chiapas Region Convert to Islam

The bill that was just defeated in the Senate was an amnesty, plain and simple. But take a look at what these treasonous scumbags tried to hide in it. They will be back and we can expect more of this if we do not act decisively.

I sure hope that there's plenty of Mexican flags made available to the "marchers". Somebody on the side of America needs to be smart about fighting this propaganda war.... Give 'em LOTS of flags to wave for the cameras.
