I'm simply convinced that the GOP is currently a lost cause and conservatives no longer have a voice in government that isn't laughed at.

The current GOP is history, and I blame the likes of my own Senator McLame (and others including all the RINOs). This year will go down in the history books of this once great Constitutional Republic. Oh, and the DumboCRAPS have nothing to offer either, other than IMPEACHMENT. That is the sole platform the DumboCRAPS will run on in the mid-term election.

You left out, "take away welfare to illegals"; and "prosecute/defund cities/counties (& their officials) that provide 'sanctuary'".

Getting the Congress to pass the 'Clarification of the Citizenship Clause" of the 14th Amnendment, to destroy the "anchor baby" crap would also help considerably.

Huge castle fortress wall? Something I'd actually want my tax dollars going to, for a change. I'd feel a little sketchy about the fortrification, privacy wise. Because I am pretty fond of cutting a hole in the chain link and skeetering down to Cabo for a weekend, like I usually do.

Our politicians already know this but I love all the marching & demanding by the Illegals and their MSM lackeys taking the side of illegal foreigners. It should awaken the sleeping giant of the sensible electorate.

Too many Republicans are scared of the NYTimes, the UN and other elitist groups worldwide. If this is the way they "represent" their constituants, why vote Republican? Not to mention the big spenders they've become, the biggest in history.

Dimocrats are all for the Illegals, to them it's more voters they can hook on the Big Government tit. Why vote Dimocrat?

We need a viable third party and soon.

BUILD THE WALL, then after that we can figure out what to do with the people already here.

Exactly. Congress will NOT act unless forced to do so. Passing more laws when they refuse to enforce those now on the books is ridiculous. When you have a water leak in your upstairs bathroom you don't begin fixing downstairs first. You turn off the damn water first. Both parties are downright cowards when forced to take a stand that might be good for our country. We've got to force them, once and for all, to take a stand and gain control of our borders. Then and only then let's have a very liberal legal immigration process and build the infrastructure to process legal immigrants. Right now, even if we wanted to, we don't have the ability to process immigrants. I can't blame them for breaking our laws when some good, hard working and honest people simply get screwed while trying to obey our laws.

I have a leak in my upstairs bathroom and the water is flowing non stop onto the ceiling of my living room, ruining my carpet and flooding into all the rooms downstairs.

Following our government's lead, I just wanted you all to know that today the contractors are coming out to begin remodel work downstairs. I will be changing the carpet, tearing out the drywall, removing all the light fixtures and replacing all the furniture downstairs. It should look really nice when we're done.

After I remodel downstairs I hope to be able to find a good plumber who can address the problem in the upstairs bathroom.

"Putting up a fence will not stop the tide."

It's done a very good job in Israel against suicide bombers, also highly motivated to get across. The point is not to put up a perfect barrier but to put up a barrier that will drastically reduce the numbers crossing illegally. A fence or wall as part of a system with ditches and patrolled and camera-mounted open areas would do a very good job, and that's all that is needed. It would make a huge difference as well as sending a clear message to Vicente Fox and future Mexican leaders that they cannot further dictate American policy. it doesn't have to do a perfect job in order to do the job we need.
