SAUDI ARABIA has invited bids for the construction of a security fence along the entire length of its 900km (560mile) desert border with Iraq in a multimillion-pound project that will attract interest from British defence companies.
The kingdom claims to be winning the battle against al-Qaedas Saudi wing but wants to protect itself against Saudi insurgents returning from Iraq.

Maybe we should be doing the same thing here.

Actually, I think Iraq will be just as grateful to have a border fence.

Will the MSM label it an "illegal apartheid" fence like they label the Israeli fence?

Interesting to say the least. Never a dual moment. Muhbarak comes out against Iran. Saudi want to wall their border. Of course it is silly unless they also wall of Jordan to the north. Now if we see Kuwait follow suit, and the Saudi offering to pay for a wall Jordan can construct then this would really get to become quite interesting.

yahh, considering a majory majority of the foreign insurgents caught in Iraq are Saudi, I would say Iraq is all for it.
Al-Queda just annouced that a Saudi has replaced Zarqawi as as general of iraq, etc....
But then again, its not the Saudi border thats the problem, its Syria.

I love the idea of subcontracting mexico to build the fence and letting those workers have the first leg up on coming into the US.
To: jmc1969
Would they like 10-20million illegals?
I hear they work real cheap.

You just gave me an idea..
WE need to find a way to use reverse psychology on Mexico...and get THEM to want to put up a fence themselves!!
Now, what can we do to facilitate that??? hmmmmmm

No, no one has replaced Zarqawi in reality. In name an Iraqi that I don't believe exists named Mr. Badhadi has supposedly become the new chief. But, the US military looked into the matter and determined it to be propaganda.

The Mexicans would demand to much. Human rights, food etc..
If the Saudi where on better terms with the North Koreans.
They could get some real cheap labor. Saddam employed tons of cheap North Korean labor to build his whole Al Anbar road grid. In fact my nephew last year stayed at a FOB called Korean Village, up in NW Al Anbar. Due to it's former occupants being thousands of Korean labors.

Once all these walls are built and thereby connected, we can bring in huge bilge pumps and fill em up. Do terrorists float?

"Do terrorists float?"
I would think so. When I was a kid, many a day I would see a dead bloated rat floating on the river and creeks in my area.

Flood their borders with millions of uneducated people waving the american flag demanding jobs, welfare, medicaid, and medical care.

My first thought exactly. Perhaps we can give them an extra $0.10 a gallon for a year to build one for us on our southern border with MexAmerico.

Does this mean that Mr. Goodhadi will continue to work as a mechanic for GM?
