Hmmmm.....I would consider Floppy discs ...magnetic disks....Why cleanse them when they would be so easy to hide....

In fact the Arabic document Says " Haseb Al Maktabiah AL Mansooba Ladayna" which translates exactly "The Computer Library Installed For Us " They are talking about main frame computers and hence the "Ikl'aa Al Aqras Al Magnatisya" means "Evacuate the Magnetic discs". These are large storage discs belonging to the main frame and these discs storage must be evacuated outside the location according to the document.

Remember the threads back when we went into Iraq? There was one specific thread I remember about a scientist that had some equipment buried in his yard and disks and files in his home. That article said the scientist and others were told to keep that data in their homes.

So I bet those hard drive disks were removable. Similar idea to zip disk drives.
