I am not saying that cracking down on illegal immigration won't hurt... and I am NOT saying that you would ever choose the easy road instead of the right one...I AM saying that it is FAR better than continueing down the road we are on.....It will hurt us much more in the long run if we DON'T!

One of the reasons I don't get into arguements about the immigration thing too much is because of the point I posted...I don't want to see our economy collapse, and if that is the result...would my predjudices be reason enough to argue vigorously to that point??
Also...MY personal reasons for not being happy with the illegal immigration problem is NOT a PC reason...and not too many people share my reason, so I don't choose to get into the arguements often.
But, whenever I read or hear something that I think makes sense in making a case for/against the subject I file it in my pea brain and whip it out on days like today.
Regardless of the "debate" you are having with Pukin Dog---this is just SO much more intelligent and tolerable than I see on most of the border control threads...that I have chosed to interject...
Just so you know--- I am reading both "sides" with great interest and you are BOTH making me think...which is what FREE REPUBLIC is all about, IMHO>
