Well, That's probably because it is a tactic, not an arguable point. One can't very well respond to "You did not!" without it descending into a nose~to~nose shouting match.

Comparing me going 65 in a 60 zone or flicking a cigarette butt onto the sidewalk to someone sneaking into my country (as the first in a very long line of crimes they will commit) is trivial, simple-minded, and insulting. "Yea, I was taking an after dinner stroll, made a wrong turn and, wow! here I am in Walla Walla!" C'mon, you're better then that.

Like EC, I want the laws of my country respected by foreigners. I want the US government to enforce those laws or repeal them. That is my stance. That is my position. That is my assertion. Are you calling me a liar (like you did EC)? Prove it.

As I said earlier, this isn't the thread where this issue is going to be resolved. This thread is where the rhetoric of the Sunday talking heads is discussed.

I would caution you to not make this argument personal. The fact that you and others can never come up with a coherent argument against the point I made is always clear when the name calling begins. Watch yourself.
