I thought the interesting thing about the poll quoted by Russert was that Americans opposed deporting all illegal immigrants by a margin of just 49% to 47%. A few more years, or maybe a few more months, of massive illegal immigration and I predict that those favoring the deportation of all illegal immigrants will be in the majority. However, neither J.D. Hayworth nor any other politician that believes in enforcing our borders advocates the rounding up and deportation every illegal alien. If sanctions began to be applied consistently to employers that hire illegal aliens, the hiring of illegal aliens by employers would significantly decrease. When the jobs for illegal aliens dry up, then many of the illegal aliens will voluntarily return to their home countries.

Your list of Kerry's potential cabinet is true for ANY democrat running, even Bayh, who is currently pretending to be a moderate. (He's my senator so I know all about his own flip-flopping.)

People who rant about sitting out elections or forming a third party because of their frustration should keep that in mind. The current democrats cannot be trusted with national security, foreign policy, nor the supervision of the military. They MUST NOT win the White House.

So how do we get them to pay attention. Hinderaker is on CNN will he mention Jveritas and the docs?

You would think CNN would. I believe that if there is a lick of common sense at CNN senior management, they would see the Gallup pull-out for what it was-rats abandoning a sinking ship. CNN has a choice-right the ship by at least pretending to move closer to the center, or move further left, capsizing the darn thing. Im not confident they will..

Thanks for watching, so I don't have to.

I'm tired of the MSM and their "balanced" (maximum sarcasm intended) approach to certain issues.

1 (Hayworth) person who stands for enforcement of the laws and against amnesty (like 60% of the US) vs. 3 (Russert and the 2 other congressmen) who are pro-illegal alien.

Typical.

Anita, if I recall, the Ingraham break-up was right around the time she was diagnosed with cancer, was it not? Made me wonder at the time what kind of guy he was.

It's John Kerry, Sophomoric Senator. His intellect is sub pedestrian at best. He was in love with himself from birth and it supposedly was one of the most common things his father told him. "John that sophomoric" in response to one of John's tirades. It supposedly still can cause Kerry boy to lose it, to be told he is a sophomoric thinker.

"More disgusting than Shocking is Senator Spector's subtle failure to defend the President on all issues. This man is constantly sucking up to the MSM and doing his best to appear "neutral and "senatorial."
No one will ever accuse Senator Spector of either gratitude or loyalty. He would not be sitting where he is if it were not for President Bush. President Bush came out and supported the Senator and even helped in fund raising. What a coward Spector is!"

I was thinking the same thing when I heard him! I think he is more of a snake in the grass than a coward.

Carolinamom, even Juan Williams sounded reasonable on H&C, attacking McKinney. Colmes was repeating the racism charge shamelessly.

On Laura Ingraham a few days ago she defended Juan because he was addressing a black audience telling them that the way to success was education and a work ethic, and not government handouts. Juan is also a Christian and a supporter of the WOT. That makes his shrilling for the DNC every Sunday harder to understand.

Kerry is still smarting from the SBVFT revealing what a scoundrel he is. Kerry has never responded personally to the SBVFT charges, which he can't refute because they are factual. His selective release of an incomplete SF-180 just adds fuel to the fire. Kerry's political ambitions are only exceeded by his arrogance. He will never defeat Hillary for the nomination.

Kerry takes himself down every time he's asked to take a position on anything. Russert did try to pin him down a little, and Kerry waffled all over himself.

And did anybody see Kerry at the Viet Nam Memorial last night. Inquiring minds would like to know if he's telling the truth.

You are most welcome, but I also thank everyone for the opportunity to remember how grateful I am that Kerry didn't win, and also to remember how important it is that we hold the House and Senate and then win the White House in 2008!

My daughter is a gator also (mine graduated in 05); Ihave two pics of her with COulter, once when she went to Eagle Forum for Colleagians in DC (a Schlafley sponsored event) and once when Ann visited UF about a month or so ago. My son, who is a senior at FSU, just saw Anne two weeks ago when she was in Tally!

I posted this on another thread

It is not unusual to release documents and talk to reporters about them

The documents that were release proved that Wilson lied in his op-ed NYT piece .. and they never mentioned Plames name

HERE'S A QUESTION TO THE MEDIA & THE PRESS

Why don't you want to talk about the 48,000 documents of Saddam's papers the President just released???

A while back O'Reilly was on with cutie couric and he jokingly stated that he's waiting to see Tim Russert frog marched out of his studio in the Plame matter.

They both went on to talk of other things and I sat there wondering what O'Reilly knew!!! Clearly he knew a lot!!!

The 49% to 47% result is surely within the margin of error so it is hard to draw any conclusion except to say the public is split. It would also be interesting to learn more information about the poll, i.e., sample size, political affiliation of respondents, where it was conducted, and how the question was worded. Most Americans are for enforcement of our laws, which is why the Dems don't want to vote on Rep amendments to strengthen security.
