I know... many of them helped me understand this mess. I've seen some vile stuff said on immigration threads. I am very grateful to see this important, no vital, issue being dealt with now. It's heartening.

Somewhere, on a thread long ago, Jeff said to (paraphrasing) "keep your head" and come back when things or you have cooled down. I have lurked many a time in just that venue.

I can't think of a time when I have posted or read an illegal invader thread that I haven't thought of, and even stopped a prayed for, those FReepers who led this movement.
