A place for FED UP American Citizens to gather, unite, communicate and coordinate the largest official 2006 National Anti-Illegal Immigrant Protest in American HISTORY!
Anyone wishing to be on/off this pinglist please PM me!
Today's Roundup of the Live thread on the Marches today. A big thanks to Danae for posting it!
Please mark your calendars to be in Washington, D.C. on Sunday, April 23, 2006 for a rally calling on the federal government to secure our borders, enforce our immigration laws and to not give amnesty to illegal aliens.
A formal announcement will be coming soon after a few details are worked out. Time is short, so I wanted to give everyone a heads up that something is in the works.
Please note, this will not be a rally for those who hate immigrants. This will be a rally for those who love America and want to preserve it for all Americans and legal immigrants.

Scuffle breaks out at immigration rally (Arizona) by Spiff
Assault in Maine Ping! The Arizona State Board is saying it's quiet and orderly here, so far. Lots of American flags, very few Mexican. It remains to be seen, when our march starts, how this plays out. 46 posted on 04/10/2006 2:53:29 PM CDT by HiJinx

From Numbers USA
Sen. Obama is holding a Town Hall Meeting Today! When:Today! Monday, April 10, 2006 2:00pm Where: Loyola University's Lakeshore Campus Joseph Gentile Center in the gym Why:Members of Congress appear almost weekly in their home district/state, but rarely publicize their schedules. These events can be a wonderful opportunity to speak with your Member of Congress and raise your immigration concerns with them directly. The more Members hear from constituents who want lower immigration numbers while they are at home, the more likely they will be to vote the right way when they're in Washington, D.C. ************************************************************************ Lou Dobbs Tonight Monday, April 10, 2006 Groups across the country have organized these immigration protests. They are changing debate by calling them immigration protests instead of anti-Sensenbrenner marches. Tonight well report on these behind-the-scenes groups and what they hope to achieve by organizing the protests and manipulating the language. Several political candidates today participated in rallies across the country, as both Democrats and Republicans court the Latino vote for 2006 and 2008. Some lawmakers hope that supporting a guest-worker program will win their support. But the Latino vote, while growing, is still a small fraction of the overall turnout. Why are lawmakers trying to win over this relatively small group of voters? Congressman Xavier Becerra is among the list of elected officials marching in favor of illegal aliens.
