Ben Affleck is a moron. Whatever the importance of the secrecy of Valerie Plame's identity and employment history (and her "undercover" status is debatable), whether or not that information is to be or remain classified is entirely within the executive branch's power to decide. Here the President isn't so much above the law, but appears to BE the law. Handing over secrets to a foreign power (say, CHINA?) for personal gain might be a problem, but that doesn't seem to be the case here.

Still and all, there is only one guy who is saying he did that (actually hearsay that he authorized the realease of contents of an intelligence memo), and I don't think anyone in a position to know has publicly said it even contained reference to Valerie Plame.

Geez - I checked imdb and am amazed by all the Affleck movies I have seen and how much he sucks.

Good Will Hunting - I thought his character was STUPID and added nothing to the movie. Good thing Matt Damon made the movie.

Jersey Girl - Good job breaking up Kevin Smith's streak of pretty funny movies. This was crap.

Gigli - Ha ha ha.

Daredevil - Kingpin was great. Elektra was great. Affleck as my favorite comic book hero - The Man Without Acting Skills. I don't think I've ever cringed so much in a movie.

The Sum of All Fears - Okay, I didn't see it. But I understand the Jack Ryan franchise is dead now. Thanks a lot, f***wad.

Jay and Silent Bob - Affleck should definitely stick to cameos.

Pearl Harbor - Retch, retch, retch. Casting Affleck in this role was an insult to the sailors who died that day.

Dogma - Carried by Damon (again).

Forces of Nature - Horrid and lifeless. When you can't even do chick-flicks right, you're in trouble.

Armageddon - The whole Affleck/Liv Tyler suckfest dragged a pretty good scifi bubblegum flick into eternal blah-dom.

Chasing Amy - Whiny sappy Affleck does a piss-poor John Cusak impersonation. Hey Ben, most people saw this movie for Joey Lauren Adams. I know I did.

Mallrats - Affleck's best role: a minor character.

A pretty face. That's about it. Poor Jennifer Garner.
