Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, Back Mitt Romney's Health Plan

Breaking from NewsMax.com

In what could be a blow to Massachusetts Republican Gov. Mitt Romney's presidential aspirations, two Democratic White House hopefuls have offered preliminary endorsements for his health care plan, which would force small businesses to offer health insurance to all uninsured employees.

"To come up with a bipartisan plan in this polarized environment is commendable," Sen. Hillary Clinton told the Associated Press on Thursday.

The Romney plan, which has already been passed by the Massachusetts legislature and is waiting the governor's signature, mimics in some ways Mrs. Clinton's own Hillarycare proposal, which crashed and burned in 1994 with disastrous political consequences.

In another sign of trouble for Romney, Hillary isn't the only Democratic presidential aspirant singing his plan's praises.

Whatever. Mark my words. This bill will help Mitt (of course there should be compulsory health insurance, since the sick are cared for anyway, often in horrifically expensive emergency rooms, after illness advances), and if Rudy does not run, Mitt has the inside track. Write that down.

Suffice it say that I think you're getting way too much sun.

It has been very rainy in the gold coast lately. It reminds me of Iowa. :)

It is going to get worse before it gets better. Medical care is the black hole of American politics. Thank heavens I will be dead, before it all falls apart.

No doubt there are some diamonds in the rough, but all senators, boys and girls, left and right, see themselves as President.

See tag.  It is heinous for either party to nominate a sitting senator to the Presidency.

This precedent gives you Kerry, Clinton, Kennedy, McPain, Reid, Levin, Obama, the list is not endless, it peaks at 100, fortunately.

This nation needs leaders, not compromisers and wussies.

Thats why Senators usually don't get elected as President.

That's proving a lot of artices here. We need to be focusing on how active we are against this socialist mentality. Inch by inch these Romneys & Roves push us to this totalitarianism. GW is a puppet to such. Our founding fathers would have ousted this current administration & lynched the other faction of this "Two-Party Cartel"

Agreed. Americans fought an 8 year war for independence over much, much less than we put up with today.

Hey, Massachusetts, say good bye to your economy. The only people who will be able to find a job in Massachusetts are illegal aliens.

Compulsory health insurance means young healthy people are FORCED to pay for someone else's bills.

Ya, if they pay taxes, and the health insurance premiums are subsidized for lower income folks. And it is not like lower income folks don't get subsidized health care now. These healthy young folks are already subsidizing health care for those that are sicker or older than they are. On the other hand, other folks are subsidizing their education. It is a life cycle thingie.
