Heck, I think most religions are lies. But not all of them fall into your description. For instance, Jesus came with a lot of verification.

I was referring to the concept of religion itself, not any religious doctrine in particular. And, as I requested in my post #93, I eagerly await the documentation that verifies Christ's ministry.

And by concept of religion you mean accepting something someone tells you at face value without personally verifying it? This would certainly apply to more then just religious doctrines.

When you get right down to it, if you trust nothing then you know nothing. All knowledge is based on trusting something or someone. Religious and otherwise.
