I was born and raised a Catholic, and I remember in the early 70's our Church supported a boycott of produce in support of Ceasar Chavez... I was about 8 at the time, but I remember my Mom making a big deal about not buying lettuce.

MY parents are/were both Catholics in the Diocese of Dodge City and they dont quite see eye to eye with the Church on this issue. Its one thing to help a human being, its quite another to help him break the law and thats where the Church leaves the plantation here.
