Please FreepMail me if you want on or off my Pro-Life Ping List.
I want a president who isn't afraid to wage war where war is the answer.
I want a president who will put constitutionalists on the courts.
I want a president who can articulate conservative values without embarrassment.
I want someone with enough grit and character that he can take the pounding he is guaranteed to get, and I want bold.
That assumes there will be a better alternative to the best Republicans can offer to the Democrats.
If Mclame or Rudy get nominated, Republicans are doomed for sure. If someone with George Allen's position is nominated, Republicans will stand a chance as he would be much better than the aggression for abortion and euthanasia we would see from a Democrat.
You have to be wise in political gamesmanship in order to advance your power. It is never a perfectly pretty picture because politics is basically, very ugly.
Senator George Allen has received a "100" rating from both the National Right to Life Committee and Phyllis Schlafly's Eagle Forum.
George Allen is a true conservative and 100% pro-life. He does believe that this is an issue for the individual states, and IMO, barring a Constitutional amendment, this is the proper way to do it.
Conservatives could support Allen in 2008 as the nominee, but I don't think HE has the fire in the belly to take on HRC. I see him as a VA version of Rick Lazio.
Waves around little Mike Pence 08 banner again and returns to clock.
I'm sure the 11 million+ new hispanic (Catholic) citizens will find a Hillary Clinton/Bill Richardson ticket to be just what they want.
Baloney!
Planned Parenthood gives George Allen an Anti-Choice rating of 0% (percentatage of time he's with them).
National Right to Life gives George Allen 100%.

2003-2004 Senator Allen supported the interests of the National Right to Life Committee 100 percent in 2003-2004.
2003 Senator Allen supported the interests of the NARAL Pro-Choice America 0 percent in 2003.
2001-2002 Senator Allen supported the interests of the National Right to Life Committee 100 percent in 2001-2002.

1995-2004 On the votes that the National Family Planning & Reproductive Health Assocation considered to be the most important in 1995-2004, Senator Allen voted their preferred position 0 percent of the time.
With regard to the South Dakota law, from USAToday
WASHINGTON South Dakota's new law banning almost all abortions is creating a rift among anti-abortion Republicans during an election year.
That has been apparent as the party's 2008 White House prospects respond to questions on the South Dakota ban. Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee and Virginia Sen. George Allen said they would have signed it.
If not, we'll have a Democrat in the White House. Count on it.
If Guiliani gets the nomination I'll vote for someone else. You can count on a conservative pro-life independent running in 08 if Guiliani wins the nomination.
McCain No! (a message you can say and be understood in both English and Spanish).
I like Allen, and I respect that he's been pretty up-front about what he believes on abortion, but it's just not true that he's 100% pro-life.
Most aren't Catholic in any recognizable form. Religion in general, and Catholicism in particular, is frowned on rather heavily by the Mexican government.
"I think Guiliani is the one to beat on the right if he runs at this time."
I consider him and McCain pretty far left.
Tancredo/Pence '08
HUH?
It doesn't FORCE them to do anything, incl. get pregnant in the first place!!!
I'm sick of moron treating 97+% of pregnancies as something entirely random, with no cause over which the bearer would have any control. As something like a woman's period... Good grief.
