Interesting that you should say that. Fred is in fact a Democrat and has run for Govorner of Kansas as a Democrat. Before he began all the protesting he was a big shot in the Democrat party. A major fund raiser. There are photos of him and Al Gore at Fred's "compound" in Topeka. Fred was invited to Bubba Clinton's inauguration in 1992 and 1996.
