Boils down to two words Transnationalist and Clinton!
President Bush is continuing what Clinton started and he agrees with Clinton as is evident by the Bush's family relationship with Clinton.

Sadly, I believe you are correct. As long as no one messes with their sports programs or Oprah/Phil...life is good in their eyes.

80% of the population are idiots and it sucks to be in the 20%.

Ignorance is indeed bliss.

When the GOP gets the as8 handed to them in 06 watch how the media will spin it - instead of conservatives staying home it will be because people wanted to make illegals citizens.

It will be a bunch of crock - but we know why the GOP is losing and will continue to lose. The sleeping giant within the party has been awoken and although the prospects of Hitlery make many scared the prospects of a Wolf in sheeps clothing ala Bush/McCain/Guliani are almost worse.

Why is President Bush so determined in his second term to commit political suicide?

Uh, how does one commit political suicide, when by law he/she is prevented from running again anyway?

Bush figures that his political base will fold on amnesty because he fought for them and got two conservatives on the Court.

That was yesterday, W. What have you done for us lately ?

Well, for one, it doesn't help your legacy.

...the Bush administration appears willing to cave into the Democrats on the issue of amnesty.
-----
Cave in on AMNESTY ??? Hell, Bush has been for amnesty since before he took office in January 2001. Cave in?? Hello??? He is one of the chief architects of the whole "GIVE AWAY AMERICA" plan now being "debated" in the Congress.

It didn't hurt Reagan's legacy. He is remembered for national security - as Bush will be.

We're not talking about immigration, we're talking about ILLEGAL immigration.

You are absolutely right. ILLEGAL immigration undermines the rule of law, which is fatal to America since that is what our whole experiment in ordered liberty was founded on.

Agree. As a Republican, I can't support John McCain with a straight face.

Nov 2006 could bring a lot of changes in the political landscape. I for one want a change, especially a change in the GOP leadership. If not, it may be time to go third party.

Maybe if enough Republican senators and congressmen bite the dust in November, Karl Rove will realize .. blah blah blah

IMO Karl Rove is a dope, that's D-O-P-E. And he's a 'political genius' like I'm a Thoracic Surgeon. In some respects I wish he was indicted by the Feds.

His bone head decision to hide Dubya from the media for the last two weeks (or was it a month?) in Nov on 2000 the reason Al Bore won the popular vote.

And this 'genius' (assh*le is more apt) let that bonehead moron Kerry get within an eyelash of the WH in '04. Why, because of his pandering to the f**king illegals for one thing. And calling the Minutemen Vigilantes and insulting the Swifties sure didn't help - that p*ssed of a LOT of people. And I KNOW that was Rove's doing.

The last election should have been a stinking landslide for Dubya, or at least a no brainer.

We're not talking about immigration, we're talking about ILLEGAL immigration.

What we are really talking about is an unsuppressed invasion of our sovreign territory by hostile foreigners intent upon taking over our country. "Immigration" in the classic definition of that term is not what this is all about. By their own admissions, they do not intend to assimilate or learn the language ... just take benefits, bankrupt our country and, when there are enough of them, and we are weakened enough, then they intend to take over the country.

Wake up foolish Americans!
