Matthews: scale of 1-10, he was thinking of his over-inflated ego (heading up to 10).
I guess people in general are to lazy to care...and lots of them are ON the government handouts that the DIMs wave in front of their faces. Selfishness rules!
Thanks, MLF, I didn't realize that the budget deal had fallen apart in the House. They had better do something about the alternative minimum tax though before it hits middle Americans or they will all be ridden out of town on a rail.
Of course there are.
The point is - that none of them were used against the leakers. Sandy Burglar got 3 years probation and a tiny fine. I can tell you if *I* had done what he did, I'd be broke and sitting in prison for the rest of my natural life.
The fine for releasing classified information is $20,000 or 10 years in prison for EACH offense.
IMHO, the real problem is that everybody inside the Beltway and in the media (including Tony, Rush & Co.) STILL ALLOW THE DAMN TRAITORS IN THE DNC & MSM TO FRAME THE ISSUES, then go run and put out that stinkin' brushfire until the next one pops up.
Closing the WH Press Office might be satisfying in the short term, but all it really does is give the lying bunch of bums free rein plus a chance to cry about how the WH is "choking off the freedom of the press".
Put in Bush's place right now, I'd call a Press Conference (on ten or fifteen minutes notice) two or three times a week and absolutely bury those bums in information.....and the first time someone has a Helen Thomas moment, make sure the cameras are all running, chew their butt and revoke their pass until they grow a brain and some manners.
That's yesterday's vote. It reflects the vote on Reid's cloture motion to cut off amending the McCain/Kennedy version.
Listen to this caller. He's not completely stupid and he still doesn't get this. I guess he just doesn't want to understand.
I actually heard someone on the radio talking about how Bush leaked the name of a covert CIA agent. You see how this garbage mushrooms? You may know the truth. I may know the truth. Everyone on this thread may know the truth. However, the majority of the American public does not know the truth. Therein lies the rub.
It's much easier to jump on the "It's Bush's fault" bandwagon....
Schmucky and Rotten ... NY is doomed ...
The caller is just typical of the American public. Funny how all the dems are so concerned about the President leaking but don't now nor have they ever cared about Leaky Leahy getting someone killed with his leak.
MOONBAT MIKE ALERT!
Tony just said Fitzy not going after anything but Libby.
Wait until Libby's lawyers start hauling Pinky, Miller and others fr the NY Slimes, Joey Wilson, Val, Cooper, Buffalo Butt Timmy Russert, and others on the witness stand - - that will make for lots of spinning! My guess is that they'll pressure Fitzy to drop the case so they don't have to testify (maybe just wishful thinking).
And the DIMs have learned how to take advantage of the public's ignorance to the extent that they are able to make lies sound like the real thing and never be held accountable because what they are spreading around are complete lies.
NY isn't being represented properly by electing two lawyers that don't know squat about honesty.
It makes me aware of how successful the MSM and weeknight anchors are in getting the liberal message out - and let's be honest about the word "liberal". We all know that it really stands for "Leftist" as in "Socialist" as in "Marxist", and the best little Marxist around is Hitlery.
But I digress.
I'm gonna scream if the President doesn't get his message out. I want Socttie fired and somebody put in that job with a set. End of subject. Where is Ari when you really need him?
Nor were they concerned when Newsweak posted a false story about Gitmo.
