"Woof" is used in broadcasting to say "stop," "that's enough" or to mark a specific point in time -- which is what is done in this case. "Tony's show starts in 3 minutes: WOOF!" Means in 3 minutes from-- NOW!
I can't imagine how this woman felt when she realized what she was taping.
Would that message be drawn in crayon? That's all the DUmmies can read.
How about General Honore? "You're STUCK ON STUPID, reporters!"
This story has gone from the incomprehensible to the absurd. If the public is so stupid they won't understand it. Anyone that does understand it knows the President didn't do anything wrong. So...I'm not sure where it goes. I think it will all go away when Scooter is acquitted as I am sure he will be.
I just remember watching it on Fox. I was in horror enough. I cannot imagine there so close and being there. Wat a horror....
Tammy is so brave.
10' feet....it would be difficult to sit facing the scumbag without restraints.
Political discourse ceased to be a dialog after the election of 2000. Gridlock of thought precedes and inevitably produces gridlock of action. Gone are the Days of Firing Line, with WFB's debating the issues, supplanted with the Gotcha Journalists of the Drive-by Media. Folks such as Tony Snow or Neil Cavuto need to appear alongside Tim Russert or Chris Matthews to raise the level of discourse to what it was.
She should air the tape....show it over and over.
Yes, she is. I remember her on another KVI show a year or less after it happened describing their ordeal in the hotel - taping the video and then also trying to save themselves - trying to decide to stay in the hotel (which her husband wanted to do) or run (which she wanted to do).
She said last night that they did edit the tape a bit - - only to remove their 'discussion' about whether to stay or run.

...They have long felt that this White House is too secretive

Paul O'Neill says he is going public because he thinks the Bush Administration has been too secretive about how decisions have been made.

Behind the curtain stands Dick Cheney, easily the most influential vice president in U.S. history. Cheney is a secretive and remorseless strategist

The vice president created these questions. Its also emblematic of the rather secretive style with the press by the vice president

I had to stop watching all those stupid morning shows not necessarily for the negativity of the interviewers, but because the republicans never had the stones to challenge the lies. I'm sick of wimpy, whiney, mealey mouthed people who haven't got the guts to stick up for themselves or their fellow republicans. Just look at what happened the one time someone wouldn't take the bleep, i.e., Laura Ingraham on Today. She stirred up a hornet's nest. If republicans would more often say "Matt, that's a lie, you know it's a lie and you shouldn't call yourself a journalist if you cannot deal with the truth" they might be able to change some of this media bias. What's the worst that could happen? That person wouldn't be invited on again? Well, if every single republican would do it they would either have to invite no republicans or perhaps actually report the stories truthfully. Rather lied and he's gone. It can be done but not if the republicans don't get some guts.
"She should air the tape....show it over and over."
She mentioned last night (or Brian did) that she and her husband would consider allowing the tape to be shown - - but, they don't want it edited, exploited and/or people to make money off of it.
I couldn't agree more.. My biggest frustration with the current administration and RNC leadership is their poor marketing skills.
I do listen to F&F because Brian or ED or even silly Steve Doocy WILL come out and question these idiots. Brian's interview of Cynthia McKinney was priceless!
I don't really care about the DUmmies. I care about reasonable people (or somewhat reasonable) who only get their news from the lying media. The DUmmies will never change. But perhaps the lying media can somehow be changed.
The problem is stupid people vote (along with dead people.)
