I know how she feels. There's nothing like a soldier/marine in a uniform to make me a little weak kneed and breathless.
yea no doubt!
No, the ACLU only shows two colors... Red and a little bit of yellow.
I'm not sure what you are saying....but the Mexican Flag I remember was fixed at the Alamo. They want another Alamo we can give them one. They have no right to fly their "after dinner napkin" in our country. We kicked their butts in the 19th century and we will do it again.
The enemies of the U.S. should be targets and become extinct in the eyes of jurisprudence.........and whatever. It's time to fight no more time to talk. All those without a social Sec number,....have to go and in cattle cars or box cars under the threat of arms...........
HEIGHTS PRINCIPAL SURRENDERS FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE April 6, 2006
Shaw Heights Middle School Ends Neutral Dress Code
Westminster, CO Due to the exemplary behavior of the students at Shaw Heights Middle School and the progress made throughout the week, as well as Attorney General John Suthers news release regarding the display of flags in schools, Myla Shepherd, Shaw Heights Middle School principal has announced that the neutral dress code will end effective Friday, April 7, 2006 at 8:00 a.m.
Looks like a bunch of loosers and fairys. Is that what we have out that way ?
Due to the fact that the CO state senate voted last night to cut off funds to any school that bans the US flag, the dress code rules against the flag were suspended by this nitwit of a principal. I guess they "forgot" to mention that in the PR release.
Cobra,
>> But then again I had to walk barefoot through 25 miles of snow and glass while hopping on one leg blindfolded to get to school.<<
Quit braggin'. Not all of us were lucky enough to live so close to school.
Exactly! I mean, this is OUR country...if they're offended by an American showing pride in America, they should just leave!
This whole situation is just freakin' ridiculous!
They look just like Terrorists in that first pic.
I bet if the the flags were Mexican or rainbow colored the principal would have nothing to say.
Done! I bet he is too cute! Daughter's has our name embroidered on it also. It really means alot.
I think I'm finally starting to hear a ground swell of backlash to all the U.S. bashing in these here United States of America.
[Mr] T
Isn't that the truth! Son gets a wee bit embarassed when I grab all his buds and get to hugging : )
I sure hope so.
You know, I had a problem with kids taking the flag to school and carrying it thru the hall. I can only imagine the distruption and potential for problems for school personnel- I do not believe that is the time or the place, and the reverence that should be associated with the flag can not possibly be properly displayed.
I believe the kids who walked out (hispanics, latinos, Mexicans, etc.) should be marked as truant and properly addressed with detentions and further walk outs should result in suspensions. If they keep it up, miss too many days, they flunk.
This action is abominable. We had a prinicpal who was very problematic. Issues were at a full rolling boil when, as it happened, she used Columbine to legitimize a full lock down the school(and issue no visitor passes) for the remainder of the year. She hasn't worked in education since that little issue was resolved.
Cowards cut and run. Marines never do.
; )
What would happen if a bunch of students took to the streets chanting "Winfield Scott! Winfield Scott!?"
There better be a lawsuit about this unconstitutional decision from our "educators." The letter from Mr. Tancredo was OK, but the US flag certainly cannot be legally banned, and this should be stated in no uncertain terms NY A LAWYER. In fact, US schools, at least in WA state are told to display American flags on campus.
They would say....."Hey Pedro", who es dis Winfield Scott??
Pedro: "I dun know, but it muzt not be bueno"......:))
