"I'm so angry I would almost as soon the the Democrats in power just to get rid of these faux-conservative traitors."

The prevalence of this sentiment is my biggest problem with FR these days. I remember having this argument back in 1992 with friends of mine voting for Perot because of the "Read my lips" fiasco. How'd that work out? Did you enjoy 8 years of William Jefferson Clinton?

Still think you'd rather have the Democrats in power?

Again, don't misinterpret me. I think the GOP (at least the senate) has dropped the ball on immigration and spending. But I think we've also accomplished a great deal.

The answer is not throw up your hands and quit, but work for more conservative candidates within the party.

It' ain'ta workin! We got too many "insurgents" comin over our southern border... We got too many RINO "insurgents" in the GOP... And we've even got too many pragmatist "insurgents" come even into the inner sanctum of FR, for goodness sake!!! They're everywhere!!! We're under seige!!! Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!
