Sorry, but you're just plain nuts. You only defended the 4th amendment when it could be applied to protecting illegals.
I defend the fourth as it applies to all people. Even drunk drivers that you support. Litterbugs, smokers, drunks, and murderers all deserve equal protection under the law. I have a hard time moving a resident alien up to the level of murderer. I can agree on trespasser and litterbug if they are caught and granted due process. I will never agree to infringements of everyones rights to crack down on trespassers and litterbugs.

Yet you have no problem passing the costs of illegal immigrants on to the general public.

And by the way, what sort of "due process" do want an illegal immigrant to have? If they are charged with a crime and going to be put in an American prison then yeah, give them a trial but if they are going to be deported then they do not have the right to a trial.
