Yet you have no problem passing the costs of illegal immigrants on to the general public.
And by the way, what sort of "due process" do want an illegal immigrant to have? If they are charged with a crime and going to be put in an American prison then yeah, give them a trial but if they are going to be deported then they do not have the right to a trial.
Good thing that you are not negotiating treaties. All "people" have the right to a hearing, and a trial in America. To whit: No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a grand jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the militia, when in actual service in time of war or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.
It says Person, not born or naturalized citizen.
Public sentiment and opinion polls do not equal due process. Yet. Those that advocate summary and administrative classifications of people are a threat to liberty, and our republic.
