Bump
Man I love her. Another bullseye by Ann.
On this one Ann actually needs to be more strident. If what I have heard and read is true, Ronnie Earle is a criminal conspiracy by himself.
(Denny Crane: "I Don't Want To Socialize With A Pinko Liberal Democrat Commie. Say What You Like About Republicans. We Stick To Our Convictions. Even When We Know We're Dead Wrong.")
You will be hearing shortly about posting rules.
Now her mind is a work of art.
rules?
But this falls in that 1% where you and I part ways.
"I spent a couple of hours listening to liberal hate radio this week to try to figure out what crime against God and man Tom DeLay is even alleged to have committed."
Why would you even bother wasting your time?
You're just pissed because DeLay QUIT.
And so am I. But I don't blame the 'Rats. They're not smart enough to orchestrate such a conspiracy.
Conservatives have been complaining far too long on far too many occasions that the "Republicans" have become spineless. And DeLay, supposedly one of the most "conservative" members of the "Republican" party QUIT.
I rest my case.

"Any Republicans who didn't ferociously defend Tom DeLay which is to say, almost all Republicans in Congress, the president, and alleged conservative writers trying to impress the editorial board of the New York Times "......
I think this made the right point. The Republican leadership these days doesn't really want effective people in positions. They let them out to dry and force their demise one way or another. Dems don't.
"...To finally get some grand jury to hand up an indictment, Earle had to empanel six grand juries in Austin, Texas, which is like the Upper West Side with more attractive people." - Ann Coulter"more attractive" TEXANS ping!
If you don't think the Democrats coordinated this to get rid of Delay because he was an effective leader, you have your head in the sand.
As was stated, you don't see any "get rid of Lamar Alexander, or Cynthia Snowe" do you? They use phony ethics charges, and phony judicial proceedings to further their addenda.
If you don't see that, you missed the whole message Ann was giving.
Conservatives live under a jurisprudence of laws, but they get prosecuted under liberals' jurisprudence of epithets. We need a real and effective Joe McCarthy to search and destroy all those who are anti-Americans from our government and from our education system which is tax supported, or tax deductible.

Joe McCarthy was right! |
McCarthy's detractors, Communists, and Soviet sympathizers never anticipated two things: One, the Venona intercepts and their subsequent release; Two, the collapse of Communism and the opening of Soviet files. From 1943 until 1980, unbeknownst to virtually everyone, the National Security Agency intercepted every Soviet message going from or to the United States. It was not until 1994 that their existence was even acknowledged, and 1995 when the first 1,400 of 240,000 intercepts were released to the public. Their content was damning and supportive of the contentions of not only McCarthy but Whittaker Chambers, Elizabeth Bentley, Hoover, and others. The collapse of Communism opened files of not only internal Soviet spy documents but also gave the FBI, CIA, and American scholars access to the files of the American Communist Party that had been hidden in a Russian warehouse since 1950. The cat was out of the clichéd bag. Read "Venona" (Yale University Press); "The Secret World Of American Communism" (Yale University Press); "The Haunted Wood" (Random House); "The Venona Secrets" (Regnery); "The Secret History Of the KGB" (Basic Books); "Whittaker Chambers: A Biography" (Modern Library); and "Joseph McCarthy: Reexamining the life and legacy of America's most hated Senator" (Free Press). If at first you haven't read the above, then you are coming unarmed for a battle of wits. Ann Coulter: I know he got a bad rap because there are no monuments to Joe McCarthy. Liberals had to destroy McCarthy because he exposed the entire liberal establishment as having sheltered Soviet spies. Coulter's Treason details "The myth of 'McCarthyism' as the greatest Orwellian fraud of our times. Liberals are fanatical liars, then as now. The portrayal of Sen. Joe McCarthy as a wild-eyed demagogue destroying innocent lives is sheer liberal hobgoblinism. Liberals weren't hiding under the bed during the McCarthy era. They were systematically undermining the nation's ability to defend itself. |
I'll raise you one Casper Weinberger, two VP's...Spiro Agnew and Dick Cheney and throw in a Robert Bork, whose name actually became an adjective.
bump
Ayn Rand also knew Sen. McCarthy was smeared but demurred in defending him because she didn't want to be like Emile Zola (translation: she was too chicken to do so). What Ayn Rand didn't have the guts to do, Ann Coulter does.
