and yet they encourage these kids and dont scold them for having a baby at the age of 13 or so.
And then they get mad at us when we do not provide them with what they demand.
Advice to the imbeciles.
1. Keep your pants on and legs closed.
2. Stay in school.
3. Get a job.
4. Contribute to society.
5. Don't expect freebies at every turn.

That was my first thought as well; why aren't the Katrina evacuees lining up for $16 an hour and up? Besides the excuses of the lazy, I found out something yesterday I didn't know. Many of the new construction forement are hispanic, and they are only hiring spanish-speaking hispanics.

I'm sure they can, but they're afraid of the publicity. Hence the buy-out option.

They are probably also aware of how much (more) damage the residents can do to the rooms before they can get them evicted. Hence the extortion payment.

Products of the "Great Society." Many are second and third generation welfare recipients. They have never worked and in some cases have never known anyone who worked.

I actually have stayed in a 20 hotel in Lovelock Nevada.
Long story, short stay.
The 44 year old tow truck driver had a 16 year old pregnant wife. Real "Deliverence" moment.Creepy. Perfect for the leftover Katrina flotsum.

These people are in New York!??

Why aren't these deadbeats living back in New Orleans, where there are jobs aplenty and mountains of work begging for workers? Howcum all those jobs and all that "free" reconstruction money is being soaked up by illegal aliens? Don't these people know all they need to do is show up and earn a fat paycheck? Oh, wait a minute, I forgot. These people don't actually work for a living, they just exist off the government teat (i.e. us) and their corner drug deals and make the rest of us work for a living to support their lazy a$$es!

Maybe we should send these slugs to Mexico and keep a like number of illegal aliens as replacements? I think it would be a better trade.

Arlen? John? Teddy? Jorge?...

Interesting story. It proves there are $20 per night hotels in places like Lovelock, Nevada. As creepy as it was, I'll bet it beat a housing project in NO, didn't it?
