The measure does not call for new taxes but would require businesses that do not offer insurance to pay a $295 annual fee per employee.

And there it is folks in living color. Just another way for government to take from one and give to another. It's not a fee it's a TAX!

Individuals deemed able but unwilling to purchase health care could face fines of more than $1,000 a year by the state if they don't get insurance

Welcome to the gulag.
My landlord doesn't carry health insurance. He pays cash, and probably saves alot in the long run. I would imagine there are alot of people who don't want to pay premiums.
My guess is this will have a detrimental effect on business, and employers will think twice about hiring that extra hand.

Health care for all and it will cost nobody any extra.

It is an economic miracle.

Mandatory coverage will soon spill over into requiring a list of ever-growing treatment mandates. Prices will increase. Young single men will have to pay for coverage which includes maternity care, young single women will be forced to pay for coverage which includes boner inducer pills, and someday, hairpieces.

I do not call for the execution of the traitors who have supported this bill but would require them to serve as test subjects for the latest model of the electric chair.
