Harris Names New Campaign Staff

April 4, 2006 ) -- Congresswoman Katherine Harris today announced a new senior campaign team for her campaign for U.S Senate.

The experienced group of seasoned professionals with decades of campaign experience will direct Harris' bid to unseat incumbent Senator Bill Nelson.

"I am so pleased to announce our new team which will implement a positive strategy for victory in November. I look at our campaign today and I am so excited. We have 45,000 contributors, nearly 100 percent name identification, millions in the bank, a professional campaign staff, thousands of volunteers across the state and most importantly, a positive vision for Florida's future," said Harris.

"Like most campaigns, we have made changes that make us stronger. We are not looking back and have our sights on victory in November," Harris concluded.

Paul Wilson and Steve Grand, media consultants. Wilson Grand Communications is a 20-year media consulting firm with the best incumbent-beating record of any Republican firm in the nation against incumbent members of Congress. Wilson Grand clients include U.S. Senators Pat Roberts and Sam Brownback of Kansas, Governor's Jon Huntsman of Utah and John Hoeven of North Dakota and Congressmen Kenny Hulshof of Missouri, Paul Ryan of Wisconsin, Rob Simmons of Connecticut, Paul Gillmor of Ohio and Chris Cannon of Utah. Wilson Grand Communications is currently media consultant to gubernatorial candidate Secretary of State Ken Blackwell of Ohio .

Glenn Hodas, campaign manager. Hodas is a veteran of numerous political campaigns at the state level and headed a commercial trade association in Illinois . Hodas' most recently was senior consultant at Wilson Grand Communications and is on loan to the campaign. Chris Ingram, communications director. A resident of Tampa , Ingram has advised numerous House and Senate campaigns and has worked on the staff of three members of Congress including as chief of staff to U.S. Rep. Max Burns and Washington press secretary to the late Senator Paul Coverdell.

Pat Thomas, field coordinator. Ms. Thomas joins the campaign after serving as campaign manager to Rep. Kenny Hulshof. She has also served as Missouri 9 th Congressional District coordinator.

Erin DeLullo, fundraising coordinator-Washington, D.C. Erin Delullo is President of DeLullo and Associates, LLC a national fundraising firm.

My browser (IE6) seems to show the title as Katherine Harris announces has campaign staff. If I click on the thread, it reads better. The Forum page shows the title differently from the thread page.

I just found it strange that the words were different in different places (which I though were copied by software, not that that's always accurate.)
