WASHINGTON -- U.S. intelligence information on Iran is inadequate and may contain misinformation that spy agencies are accepting as solid, the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee said Tuesday.
Rep. Jane Harman, D-Calif., told a Council on Foreign Relations gathering that she and other lawmakers recently received a briefing from intelligence agencies based on information shared with the International Atomic Energy Agency and the U.N. Security Council.
Her bottom line: "I remain skeptical lots of unanswered questions."
"The conjecture that I have is that if I were Iran, and I wanted to put out disinformation, it might look a lot like what our government is claiming is information," she said. "I can't tell you that's true, but I can't tell you it's not true."
Harman didn't provide details on the classified session.

There!
I had to be said, and I'm glad you said it!
Yep here we go. Now the price we will pay for their treason on Iraq is brought to light. Any time anything comes up they will NOW claim "the Intellegence is inadequeate" to justify their do nothing ever political dogma.. The Intellegence is always inadequate fools. Always.
You beat me to it. :-)
I guess she won't be convinced till Iran detonates a nuclear bomb and than she'll ask if we're sure it's their bomb.
That was my first thought!!!!!
No. Then she'll blame Bush for not knowing it was going to happen.
Intelligence in Democrats Inadequate
The silly Dem says: "Well, we can't be SURE that Iran is actively pursuing nuclear weapons. I mean, even though they SAID they are, we still can't be sure. Nor can we be sure that water is wet, or that things fall to the ground when you drop them."
This looks like a job for...
Meanwhile, on the other side of town...
Captain Obvious says: "What's this? It's the Obvious Signal! There is a strong possibility that someone is in need of my assistance! Otherwise, the signal would not have been activated!"
Rep. Jane Harman (D-CA) says: "I am not entirely convinced that Iran is seeking nuclear weapons!"
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says: "I, the president of Iran, am actively seeking nuclear weapons for my country. Which is Iran."
Captain Obvious (not Captain America) says: "...wow. Not even I can help you with this one, Representative."
Someone should tell Jane to make a phone call to Jacques over in Paris. "M. Chirac, common ca va?...Fait l'intelligence indiquent que l'Iran a le weapons nucléaire? ... What?... bien alors. Il est votre travail de le faire maintenant."
We don't need evidence. Iran's statements are enough.
The standard has not changed.
We will not allow a Muslim to "act" like they have testicles when we all know they are nothing but girly-men.
A surgical strike to remove their leadership will send a clear message to the remaining fundamentalist Islamics in our world......boast too loudly and we'll kick your ass!
Ca va?
At which point she will squeal it is "too dangerous to do anything, they have nukes." Then when the mushroom cloud forms over Tel Aviv she will squeal "It's none of our business they did attack us". etc etc until when they demand she wear a burka she will squeal "Well it's only a dress". Her type will always find some rationalization to excuse their moral cowardice
Chirac once warned Iran that if they have developed nuclear weapons and use it to attack France, France will not sit back and wait. Ms Harman should see that even her ideological ally M. Chirac had to put on a hardlien face.
I'll second that!
