I'm glad that about twenty greenies are going to walk to work today at great inconvenience to themselves in order to reduce airborn pollutants. Because, the instant I get done typing this, I'm going out back and fire up my New Braunfels smoker to cook up some pork shoulder. (I love the way the universe balances itself.)

Since trees are still the number one source of "Greenhouse Gases" does this mean that the lumber industry finally gets free reign in California??

...and an Episcopalian minister who called global warming ``the greatest moral issue of our time.''
And people wonder why the Continuing Movement is gaining momentum.
I wish California all the best with this legislation. In fact, I'm personally willing to help them by just keeping all that Rocky Mountain run-off we currently sell them at 19th century rates. The eco-costs of purification, storage, and transport much be enormous.

OK, then the states surrounding the People's Republik had better get ready for a flood of economic refugees a few years after it is enacted.

Hopefully, eventually California will serve as an abject lesson in what happens when you mexify an American state -- before it happens to the rest of us. I hate to say this, but I have less desire to visit CA now than I do France. I'm not sure there is any difference between the two.
Did you know that the French refusal to eat potatos to keep from starving in the late seventeen hundreds led to the french revolution?

Here in Utah we provide California with cheap electricity by burning locally-mined high-quality coal. We get to breathe the fumes. Can we quit now?
Currently, there are two existing units of the Intermountain Power Plant (IPP) in Delta, Utah. Intermountain Power Agency owns the IPP. Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) is the primary investor of the existing power plant, and six municipal utilities in Southern California are entitled to 75 percent of the power generated at IPP.
