The most intolerant among us, attempting to force all to tolerate the intolerable!
BTW, I just watched "The Chronicles of Narnia" It was awesome!! If anyone hasn't seen it, do. It is available on DVD now, and the parallels to Christianity are unmistakable, which is why the left hates it.
Also on sale at none other than Walmart today, was Brokebutt. Might I suggest we out purchase the sale of that, by buying the DVD of Narnia? Not that it won't happen anyway, but every dvd sold will show you can be sure! And Narnia is well worth the purchase price, and the time to watch it! (off topic I know, and I apologize)

Hey Everybody,
I have posted before and I am worried I am going to start sounding like a broken record. I am a man who has dealt with some issues around homosexuality, so I know from whence I speak.
I just got back from a counseling session tonight. I have posted about my therapy in other threads. By some act of an incredibly merciful God, I found the best counselor in the world for dealing with these issues (there are about three professional counselors in the U.S. who deal with homosexuality who are worth anything, that I know of). How did it work for me? This Saturday I will be shopping for an engagement ring and going to ask the sweetest, most wonderful woman in the world to marry me. I would never have reached this day if it wasn't for the counseling sessions I went to for the past three years. Now my counseling sessions are winding down. I'll probably stop soon. Job done.
It is hard to describe what I feel when I read articles like this, about people who prevent people who struggle with homosexuality from obtaining information about getting help. Great sadness, followed by anger.
There is so much I can say. First I want to thank you good people for being concerned about this issue. At the end of the day, a "fixed" homosexual orientation only affects 2 or 3 percent of the population, so most people don't think about it too deeply. They just believe what they see on T.V. So the people on this thread at least have the ability or care enough to look beyond the surface. It's encouraging to me that you guys are out there.
Does anyone see the self-fulfilling prophecy in all this? Counselors aren't allowed access to information, so they don't learn how to help people struggling with homosexuality, so the strugglers don't get good help and remain stuck. This becomes the proof that homosexuality is "inborn" and can't be changed! Unbelievable.

That's an awesome testimony! I have had similar experience- not so much with homosexuality, but with sexual addiction in general. I ended up actually having a salvation experience many years ago, and now I help others.
Pop culture is still pretty much owned by people like the control freaks in this article, but individuals like us can overtake it in time. Have a blessed marriage- it's a blast! Been married 13 years myself. :)

And the counselors who do seek out information and do try to learn more are shunned by their colleagues.
Professionals care MORE about the opinion of their other professionals than they do about their clients or patients. And,,,that's the truth.

My question to all:
So...what is your excuse for sending your precious children to government schools?
There are really only a few valid excuses. You are so poor, so dysfunctional, or so ignorant that homeschooling or private schooling is impossible. And,,,if you didn't send your child to the government assigned indoctrination camp, armed police would soon be at your door.

One more thing:
It is time that those who homeschool or privately school their children STOP defending their decision!
It is time that we ask those who government school, " WHY on earth are you doing this to your children?!". It is time that those using government schools squirm. They should be the people with the explanations.

BTTT for your comments.
The truth set people free; lies enslave. It's that simple.

I think it is even more incidious.
I think the homoadvocates are essentially trying to arrest the normal devopment of children to never leave the "girls are icky" stage.
If anything the homosexual "clubs" approved by the PTA and promoted by GLSEN should be treated the same as any other child sex solicitation group. (see the arrests of travel agencies to asia for such sex tourism)

I'm sure the ACLU will be filing suit in support of PFOX post-haste. /sarc
The homo-left recognizes the effectiveness of the Ex-gay movement and will do whatever it takes to marginalize and destroy them.
