Great if one happens to be a d@mn yankee. "Send them to Texas". How about we have YOU deal with them? You organize your local LEO round them up, pay for the bus, and deport them. Texas will never bear the brunt of Yankee ignorance. Since y'all know how to do everything so well, YOU pay for it. Or p*ss off, and build your own wall. Start with New Jersey. And have a nice day.

Good? What's good about? I see no mention of the rule-of-law concept. No mention of the 'American citizens elected us' concept.

No terms except unconditional and immediate surrender can be accepted. I propose to move immediately upon your works.

No amnesty, no guest workers, and a fence.

"What we're trying to figure out is something which will be workable so 11 million undocumented will come forward, not create a fugitive class," he (Sen. Chuck Hagel, R-Neb) said.

There's a big problem right there. You're trying to figure out how to appease the cattlemen and processers in your state instead of dealing with the problem. Start fining employers big bucks and send them to jail and the illegals will leave by themselves. Dry up their jobs.

Whaa follows is the text of an e-mail I sent to Sens Stevens and Murkowski fo Alaska. I am not very eloquent, but I think I let them know how I feel without threatening them. What do you think?

Do not legalise this criminal invasion of our country. These people have already shown a total disregard for our laws by illegally entering the country and evading our tax laws. If we reward them for these illegal acts, should we not also reward our own citizen lawbreakers?

Where do we draw the line on which criminals to reward. Do I get to choose which laws I have to obey? As a Citizen, I should have at least as many rights as an ILLEGAL alien.

If we come down hard on employers who hire them, their jobs will dry up and they will go home, where they belong.

PS there are no jobs Americans won't do, if the pay is right. These ILLEGAL aliens keep the wages artificially low and help keep the less skilled in this country impoverished.

In a nutshell, no jobs, no welfare, the illegals will go home.

The Hispanic Challenge (To America) A MUST READ Samuel Huntington (Long But Good)

The Mexicans are unlike previous immigrants. This definitely needs to be read by everyone at least once! It should be linked on pertinent immigration threads. Here's an interesting link about Samuel Huntington:

"Strangely enough, despite the fact that he was buddies with Henry Kissinger at Harvard, he is registered as a member of the Democratic Party, and has written foreign policy speeches for Adlai Stevenson, Hubert Humphrey, and Jimmy Carter."

Figuring one employee costs about $100,000 per year, these don't amount to very much in terms of headcount.

Ten million $ per year is 100 law enforecment employees, to divide among the towns spanning a 2,000 mile border.

San Diego and El Paso are within 25 miles. Don't know if Tucson is with even 100 miles (probably is). Nogales?

More political eyewash, for the masses. "See, we are doing something about (illegal) immigration."

the lawmakers considered allowing illegal immigrants who have been in the country more than five years or other connections to the United States to remain legally and eventually seek citizenship.

So.... the illegals who have been criminals the longest are given preference over more recent criminals?

Where's that guy who always said, "Beam me up", when you need him on the House floor?

This is not about workers rights or fair immigration policies. It has to do with international communist/socialist orgs looking to gain the political upperhand in the U.S..

Posted by JeffHead Jeff links to Mexica.org's 'after protest' pic fest. You can see there what the marchers thought they were marching for.

A poster for Friday’s march. March 31. This poster lists the Latino orgs that are promoting the protests. They are all communist/socialist front orgs.

Here is my analysis of what is going on behind the scenes.

Here is some evidence that 'amnesty' increases illegal entries. These people knew before the demonstrations that the time was ripe.

Smith Act of 1940 This is the U.S. statute that ought to apply to the organized gathering of tens of thousands of foreign nationals calling for the overthrow of our country.

H.R. 4437 At this link you will find a good exegesis of the only bill that doesn't offer some type of amnesty/pathway to citizenship/excuses for illegal entry. It is harsh on employers but has reasonable protections for employers who verify documents that are later shown to be false. It explains that the databases necessary are already in place. It provides for border security.

Understand that the provision that the protesters say is 'racist,' that makes illegals felons, was inserted by the Dems a short time ago. That clarifies why Hillary happened to discover the immigration issue a week before the marches. Why she demonized Republicans as "making Jesus a criminal."

Keep in mind just who organized these protests. Who provided the tens of thousands of T-shirts, the thousands of professionally made signs, the hours and hours of promotion on Spanish language radio and TV stations. It has been noticed that Islamic orgs names and logos appear on some of these signs as well. Remember that NEA teachers and adminstrators are the ones who have assisted the march organizers by providing bussing for their students, hoisting Mexican flags at school and overlooking the truancy.

Don't forget that the last two Presidential elections were nearly 50/50. Think about how our Congress is looking for a way to appease these foreign nationals through legilation. No election necessary. The outcome of legalizing 11 million illegals and encouraging more to come will be a solid lock for the left forevermore in national elections.

Mexico is Rich- Mexican wealthy play American taxpayers for suckers

Good thread for any that missed it. It should really make you mad.

Every dollar spent in U.S. taxes for social services for illegal aliens frees up additional cash to be sent south as part of the annual remittances which provided $20 billion in 2005. According to the CNN news show Lou Dobbs Tonight (3/21/05), "Remittances, as they're called, are expected to become Mexico's primary source of income this year, surpassing the amount of money that Mexico makes on oil exports for the first time ever."

and that is if they have been here more than five years," Sen. Arlen Specter, R-Pa., said after leaving the meeting. "That is a reasonable line as to people who have roots who ought to be treated differently. And if they have been here less then five years, they do not have roots to the same extent and can be treated differently, and that is what we're looking at."

Don't forget folks that this guy was a prosecutor.

He certainly believes that any rapist, thief, or other criminal should be treated differently after 5 years as a fugitive, correct? - sheese, the only way I would consider this is if Arlen moves to Mexico.

Earlier Monday, the Senate voted 91-1 in favor of a proposal by Sen. Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn., to allow legal immigrants fluent in English to become U.S. citizens in four years rather than five.

Apparently ORielly is right

It doesn't mean anything at all to be an American anymore.Nothing

Gee, 4 years to become one instead of 5 - I went to high school longer than that.

Buy guns people - it is coming

Not nearly good enough. Until they remove the provision in the McCain bill that would allow illegal aliens the right to SUE the Dept. of Homeland Security if they feel they have been "discriminated" against, this abomination needs to be killed off by the Senate. Plus there are insane increases in legal immigration buried inside the bill, including an unlimited number of H1-B visas, i.e. corporate welfare.

Call you Senators and demand that this monstrosity goes to the grave, where it belongs.
