Penn & Teller are libertarians, hence why they go after the lunatic left and the lunatic right. I've personally never seen an episode of their show that I didn't already agree with 100%.
Uh, most of the people fighting it don't want to replace it at all, they just want it to open up to everyone. All the people interviewed on the show that were criticizing the BSA were saying that the BSA is an amazing idea and great for our kids. ALL of them, not just straight christians.

My wife watched a part of their show tonight (free Showtime for the weekend) and came upstairs and told me they are the most vile and disgusting pigs she has ever seen. They were calling Mormons MF'ers and depicted Boy Scout merit badges for sodomy!!!!!
I saw the show on Showtime's free preview. It could only be judged as entertaining if you subscribe to the Michael Moore school of entertainment.
