I only wish he'd change parties, but his only power derives from trashing Republicans as a "Republican". best case scenario is for him to run Independently. Folks seem so certain he's hurt the Rep candidate. I think he'd strip more from the Dem aisle than he would Rep. We don't have that many northeastern voting Reps to sacrifice, compared to the Liberal Dems that don't vote Rep but despise Cindy Sheehan. They'd settle for McCain. Replay of '92, maybe, with the lack of a Majority vote but the Reps candidate would edge out the victory.
