As someone living in the heart of wacko liberalism--Boston--I can tell you that while she has fans, she is rapidly becoming yesterdays news.

Great stuff, thanks for posting it. I particularly enjoyed the audio of the Katrina survivor who wouldn't be eased into giving ABC what they wanted. Reporters know that they can get what they want by asking questions in certain ways, and I'm sure this guy was stunned that it didn't work with this woman, who he seems to have thought would give him an easy Bush Bash.

In the somewhat unlikely (but still entirely possible) event that Herself should be elevated to the Office of the Presidency, it would be Jimmy Carter in drag. Herself has no perception of the very real forces that must be managed to maintain equilibrum in foreign affairs, and has even less of a clue how poorly the failed plans of earlier Dem'crat administrations resonate with the majority of the general population. Health care will be dusted off, and the "single-payer" plan from 1993 will be re-introduced, there to languish in Congress for however long Herself stays in office. All the old taxes that were temporarily reduced during the Bush Administration will be allowed to revert to the old levels. Unemployment soars, and government borrowing ramps up to a rate unknown since the Second World War. But the borrowing will not be to fight any military engagement, it will be for the "poor and oppressed" within our country, of whom, it shall be noted by future historians, became even poorer and more oppressed.
