The "you're a racist if you're against illegals" charge is getting old. I'm of Irish descent, and I'm as opposed to Irish illegals as I am to Hispanic illegals. I understand there are about 100,000 Irish illegals in this country, and I've let my elected officials know I'm against amnesty for those lawbreakers, too. Illegal is illegal, period. I'm sure the vast majority of Freepers who oppose illegal immigration do so without regard to race.
So, what you're saying is you only read the headline?

What no one seems to be talking about is that these people are going to be given some sort of legal status, then they are going to complain that they need more pay because now they have to pay SS, state tax in some instances, federal tax, FICA, the employer is going to need to pay their 1/2 of SS, more than not, medical insurance, they'll have to pay for workman's comp...
then the legal illegals will be working American jobs that poor americans are competing for and the illegal legals won't want to do anymore because now they'll feel entitled to better paying, better advancing american jobs. then we're back to companies paying illegals and upwards of 20 million illegals will all of a sudden put a strain on our economy. Inflation will rise, your medical care will become absolete and you think the SS system is in trouble now? Wait until 20+ people million are added to the pot! Oh, it ain't gonna be pretty, folks.
But hey, until then, we can afford a maid and a buy to mow our lawn!

It's a big lie hyped by every friggen newspaper, TV and radio station in this state. No one has asked the people what they want since 182(?) was banned by the judges!

I can't find ANYONE who is sympathetic to the plight of these lawbreakers, no matter WHAT a squishy liberal dweeb writes about.
