I wondering if this talk wasnt a rehash of the theory that the earth may
be exceeding its carrying capacity for population with disastrous consequences
becoming more probable.
It would be interesting to know how many children the good professor
has sired.
Just to see if he's part of the solution or part of the problem.

Yep, there is a lot missing here.
We don't have a transcript. We don't have the professor's name. We don't have the paper he was presenting and we only have one second hand account.

The fact that he's alive proves he is part of what he defines as a problem. Strange how these folks never volunteer to quit life in an effort to save the earth. It's just really hard to find committed environmentalists these days isn't it?
