They're older and no wiser than they were in the 60s. And they never seem to appreciate the irony of their own stupidity even as they go out of their way to label Republicans "stupid and incompetent." If they were in charge, they would counsel us to live with the specter of Islamofascist terror in our homeland. Oh yes, they're advising us to stop making a fuss about flying the U.S Flag and accept the Reconquista as an accomplished fact. I do love liberals. They have a way of seducing you into believing their half-baked notions have a prayer in the real world.

A great parody of a great song. I was young and a lefty when that song first came out, but even though my politics have changed 180, I still pop Phil Ochs cd's into the car stereo every once in while - "love me, I'm a liberal" was a statement on the hypocrisy of the libs back then, and they have not changed.

I saw a Prius the other day in my neighborhood. It had a "Old Hippie Still For Peace" bumper sticker on it. The driver was a woman whose pony tail had grown gray, and whose face wore the markings of years of pain, anger, frustration, and the sun. She's still looking.
