Nowhere does the Bible say that women are to submit to a self centered lunatic like her husband. He neither protected nor respected her or his kids by his inactions. He is not the husband that St. Paul talks about being the "head"

the Bible doesn't really give us a choice about submission. We should.

And the husband who does not fulfill his duty does not let us off the hook for neglecting ours.

Andrea Yates was a lunatic long before Rusty ever came on the scene. He is Church of Christ BTW.

Rusty Yates may be a member of the church of Christ now (I have no knowledge whether he is or is not), but he was not raised in the church of Christ, nor was he a member when his children were murdered. There was a church of Christ nearby that helped him during the crisis.

Is that the same bunch in Tennesee--the preacher's wife who shot him in the back? I am unfamiliar with them...except a few years back I was invited by a student to attend a "women's luncheon" and I went...and left. It seemed a little too...stepfordy wifey for my taste. Not enough Jesus and too much side show stuff.
